Our feet bear immense stress each day as we go about our daily business. Over time this shows in the condition of our nails and skin.
From thickened toenails to painful corns and callus to pinching, ingrowing and fungal infected nails, even simple problems can have a big impact on our ability to mobilise, balance and remain active.
Using my 30yrs of nursing experience I offer a comprehensive and individual service that treats all of these concerns, in a clean and professional environment.
FOOTNURSE @ Bluebird
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays the FootNurse Clinic is run out of a clinical treatment room in Bluebird Care Agency in Kingsmead Square in the heart of Bradford on Avon.
FOOTNURSE @ Church Farm
On one Tuesday each month there is a FootNurse Clinic held at Church Farm in Winsley. This clinic is open to the local farming community to enable quick appointments at a discounted rate during the working day.
These appointments are more informal and are offered from 07:00.
As we are not in a clinical area wound care is not offered in these appointments.

Basic Chiropody - 30 minutes.
This appointment is for a foot check, cut and file of toenails, removal of simple corns and callus.

Full Chiropody - 45 minutes
This appointment allows a little more time to treat more complex foot conditions. It includes a foot check, cut and file of toenails, fungal nails, pinching or ingrowing toenails. Removal of callus. Treatment, dressing and padding of vulnerable areas and all corns.

Treatment of verruca - 30 minutes
Verrucae, also known as plantar warts, are highly contagious lesions caused by a simple variation of the HPV virus. The body's own immune system will kill this virus however it can often be slow to do this allowing the verruca lesions to spread or develop hard protective callus.
I use strong salicylic acid to treat the lesions and will dress the treated area meaning you can go about everyday life immediately afterwards.
